The Eastbourne champion enters the track!

Second title for the Argentinian, if he even starts to win on grass we can see him climb even higher in the rankings and yet he is already 19th in the world!

Nice title and nice week for Cerundolo who shows that he is even capable of performing on grass, crazy. His progress is meteoric and the top 10 seems only a matter of time for him given his ability to play well on all surfaces. We now have to continue / confirm and frankly for a 1st round take Borges on grass it's quite nice. The Portuguese can play well on a fast surface but I don't see him creating a surprise against a player in total confidence and above all much more complete. Cerundolo is ultra complete, in all aspects of the game he is regular and without any real weak point. On the other hand in the head it is still perfectible and it is surely what it costs him a few more defeats, it is felt in his matches where he completely drops a set sometimes before getting back into it. We have seen it several times this season and even last week: against McDonald's he trails 6/2 4/1 before winning, against Paul he goes completely through the second set, etc. Big air pockets in a lot of matches, on a match in BO5 it's a problem since you have to be concentrated longer.
