And now for Mmoh?
After his victory against FAA, the American finds himself playing an affordable second round on paper, but only on paper then.
Nice victory against Auger-Aliassime but the Canadian is no longer at the level of his classification, he came back from injury without rhythm and frankly it was bad once again. I don't take the credit away from Mmoh who can't do anything about it and play his match but be careful not to take this victory too much into account for the future. On grass he is not necessarily comfortable, his quality of service saves him but the rest does not really convince me, I think he mainly took advantage of an FAA in distress to seize his chance. He will now be opposed to Marterer, the German who got out of qualifying (not without difficulty) and who has a good game on this surface. He played well on grass last season and shows it again with his good start to the tournament here. His left-handed service should ensure him a lot of free games and his left-handed leg will get in the way of Mmoh. The American should still rely on his service games but in the game I have doubts about his ability to hold up against a left-hander, he has never really performed on this surface and should show more weakness only in the first round since the opposition is increasing
