Immortal Milos

The arrival of Milos in Toronto (and not... well, you got it!) is already a success. It was the only tournament he had gone to see as a young spectator. How far will he go?

I must admit that while writing this analysis, I have no idea where it will end up. Raonic was amazing against Tiafoe, normal against Daniel. His service is still there (in 2012, he became the 6th player in the open era to pass the 1000 aces mark). He looks a little heavy in his movements but he compensates with such timing in his forehand shifts that we gladly forgive him. With his serve, it puts such pressure on his opponent .. that he misses easy things in "normal" exchanges. The black points are of course his mobility, his backhand and his ability to chain matches.

Opposite we have a Makie McDo in very good shape on a surface that he particularly appreciates. He loves rhythmic play, is very compact and super mobile. He therefore has the weapons to disturb the aces machine. Above all, he will have to be able to put his tactics in place: play to the maximum when he takes the lightning, move the mastodon as much as possible (forward / backward, short-crossed ...), play the backhand to tire Milos on his shifts ...
