Fritz as a boss?
Since the beginning of the American season we have found a Fritz in great shape, the American likes to play at home and it shows.
Titled in Atlanta, semi-finalist in Washington then defeat against De Minaur (future finalist) in Toronto. We can say that Fritz is preparing the US Open well at the moment, after a disappointing season on grass he is showing everyone that he will have to be counted on. For Lehecka it's only his second tournament on hard court since March, he had put a set against Nakashima to adapt and behind it was quite convincing. Even his defeat against Ruud was positive I think, we know he is a player who progresses well and quickly, he is able to perform well on all surfaces so he is never easy to beat.
