Michelsen does the Newport stunt again?
A frankly open part of the table so why not see Michelsen again make a breakthrough this week?
Before planning he will already have to win against Ofner tonight, the Austrian has not played since his lunar defeat against Molcan. He was leading 6/4 5/0 before tensing up and letting the game slip away in a crazy scenario. He is having a really big 2023 season but almost exclusively on clay, although I think he would be able to play well on hard court with his size and his weapons. Michelsen was pretty good in the first round to take out Varillas, a profile that has some similarities to Ofner for me. The Peruvian has a good first and is capable of sending big shots sometimes, he's still an earthling who likes long exchanges and it was a good first round to prepare Michelsen for the future. The young American really seems to be turning a corner and he is at home, enough to see him continue his little way?
