Tsitsi heading to Milos earlier than expected?
Well, you've surely heard it everywhere: the Greek has never beaten Milos (or even put a set) in 2 confrontations. At the dawn of a fairly empty period of results, is there reason to worry?
Indeed, it was in 2020. The two on hard including one in Grand Slam. So obviously it's not the same Milos but hey, it's certainly not the same Tsitsipas either 😅. Since Los Cabos, what has happened? FANTOMATIC match against Gael in Toronto with many unforced errors, and 2-0 in the 2nd round of Cincinnati then, against the very good Hubert Hurkacz. Hey, Hubert Hurkacz... Another good server with a potentially aggressive profile... What's more, the US Open has never really succeeded for the Greek: 5 wins, 5 losses (3rd round max). Last year he lost against Galan in the 1ᵉʳ round... And I'm not even talking about the injured Badosa who will be chomping at the bit all day! (it's an expression huh...). Raonic meanwhile, everyone knows him. After a very good Toronto, he said he was not sure if he was retiring after the US Open! Nah it's starting to get too much there, the more I write the more I'm afraid for Tsitsipas who really risks finding Milos in the Cyclades sooner than expected...
