Power or elegance? 

Great semi-final for a 250, both players needed to regain confidence and this week can really do them good.

I am more impressed by Khachanov's week who is only coming back from a good injury, I expected to see him get back into rhythm and not fight for the final victory in this tournament and yet. A trap match against Bolt where he was clutch and a tough second round against McDonald, a player he beats all the time but who always gives him problems. Two solid performances, he is already playing at a high level and it is promising for the end of the season given the level he had before his injury. He has lost none of his forehand power and he fights like a lion, no doubt Khacha is back. Opposed to Korda he will have to once again raise his level of play if he wants to win, the American has just put in an impressive spanking against Etcheverry but let's make no mistake, the match up was royal for him. I advocate temperance with him, it's so beautiful to watch him play that we are sometimes a little biased about his real level of play. I'm not taking away his great victory but his first round was average and I think that it takes more to get carried away even if with confidence it can quickly become monstrous.
