This Korda is not convincing.
Like his tournament last week, I am not convinced by his level of play, Griekspoor could benefit from it.
Once again a more than average match against Borges today, Korda is saved a little by his serve because in the game Borges looked him straight in the eyes. We know the American is capable of doing everything on the pitch but when he is pushed around he gets lost and makes more than questionable choices, we saw him explode last week against Khachanov and I don't have the impression this week that something has changed. Griekspoor wasn't incredible today either, but it was a first round that was far from easy given the outbursts of his opponent. I found him calm and quite serene in a match that was shaping up to be a trap.
