Only 3 days after his final against Daniil, Jannik Sinner now faces a new challenge: to continue. All he needs is that and to win a Grand Slam for him to be considered a future world number 1. These two challenges obviously have in common the physical dimension of the player. And that's where it falls short. As evidenced by his 5-set match against Zverev at the US Open in which Jannik was covered in cramps for a good part of the match. In Beijing, our redhead beat Evans, Nishioka, Dimitrov, Alcaraz and Medvedev, for a total of 10h30 in 6 days, at high intensity on the court. His level is much higher than that of Marcos Giron (even if the latter has the blocking style that is needed to annoy him). There's not much to get my teeth into here for me, but we're obviously going to watch this match closely because behind it's Safiullin or Zverev 😉!
