A titanic semi-final?

Quite simply the two best players in the tournament facing each other, it's an early final for me!

We expected to see them both struggle a little more in their quarter-final, but not at all, we were treated to two demonstrations. Rublev hammered a not-so-inspired Humber and Dimitrov had a clean match to get rid of the Jarry trap. I liked their two performances but I must admit that seeing Dimitrov at this level of concentration is remarkable, whether on set or match point he does not explode with joy we feel he is borderline on mission this week and I love this state of mind. He doesn't overplay, he just plays at a very high level and maintains it. I was talking about the difficulty of taking out Rublev when he is thrown into a tournament and I always think about it, is Dimitrov capable of it? Yes. 3/3 in direct confrontations and no real advantage in the match up in my opinion, Rublev's strike force is tenable for the Bulgarian and above all it is moderate. With his slices, Dimitrov will be able to calm down and delay a little during the exchange, I think that if he is well in the exchange from the start of the match he can quickly take the upper hand mentally against a Rublev who can quickly tense up when he can't find the solutions...
