Bautista gets back in the saddle!
After an accident with his horses (no, I'm not kidding), Bautista returns to the main circuit after an average challenger last week..
A slow indoor hard which has similarities with Astana in my opinion and when we see how Mannarino managed to take advantage of it with his low and no spin shots we can say that the conditions are rather good for Bautista this week. It's a little shortcut so we calm down and analyze more deeply. The Spaniard found his rhythm last week in the challenge and should gain momentum in the weeks to come, faced with a profile like that of Ymer he will have the time and the lines to adjust and find his bearings but be careful the Swede is capable of coming out of big service matches and given the weakness of Bautista's return he could have a shot to play. He will also be at home, last season he took out Otte then led 6/3 4/0 against Tiafoe before collapsing afterwards. He will obviously want to do at least as well this year and why not take advantage of a Bautista recovery?
