Hubi hangs on to qualifying!
Still in the running for a place at the Masters, the Pole is doing everything he can to hang on to the wagon but he will have to overcome the Dimitrov obstacle, and that is not an easy task.
Once again an easy victory for Hurkacz but we feel him tense, when he gets broken in the first set he blames himself to death but fortunately for him Cerundolo was completely amorphous today. I'm not picking on Hubert, he's playing really well and I'm the first to want him to qualify for the Masters but damn the guys in front of him see that it's takeable and don't take advantage of it. We can also say that every time Hubert loses his serve he puts in a little more and breaks quickly, in the head it's strong. We will have to be very strong to beat Dimitrov, we could expect a physical decline against Bublik but the Kazakh didn't want to play, too bad, it's a little training and recovery for Grigor. The Bulgarian leads 3/0 in direct confrontations but there have always been tie-breaks in their matches, he has a small margin over Hubi I think. In any case he should manage his service games better than Cerundolo or Agut to then be able to put pressure on the return.
