Fabio my Fabio!
Always a pleasure to see the Italian on a tennis court, right? I love his temperament and his striking quality, but he is our friend in the tough.
Having fallen back in the rankings, the Italian must start again and pick up points left and right, I think he is hanging on to the end of the season to try not to be too far in the rankings at the start of next year. The results haven't been great so far and I think his quarter in challenge last week was largely due to him being at home. He knows how to excel at home or in Monte-Carlo for example, but his level of play, especially on hard courts, is clearly not there. His opponent will be Seyboth, the Brazilian makes a better impression on me despite his lack of victory recently, he also did not have a simple draw and delivered some good matches. Indoors I give a good advantage to Seyboth who has a better first ball and Fognini is no longer young, he will have difficulty facing the speed/power of his opponent in fast conditions.
