Match conditions : Rod Laver arena (center court) in night session (around 7 p.m. local time, 9 a.m. in France). Full stadium: 14,820 people going all out for De Minaur (minus Rublev’s coahc 😅)

H2H : 3-2 De Minaur, 1-1 in 2023

State of form : clearly the two players in form at the start of the year. Alex had an admirable United Cup, beating Fritz, Djoko and Zverev, while Rublo won the Hong Kong tournament. In their previous rounds, Rublo struggled at 1ᵉʳ, otherwise it's quite easy for both.

Comfort in the tournament: 14 victories, 7 defeats for De Minaur, 22 against 7 for Rublo who displays Grand Slam experience slightly in his favor, but who also has difficulty going far in these tournaments (terrible ratio against the top 10 in GC for two players).

Match up : super tennis balanced for me, even if they have two different profiles. Two space fighters, for me this match is 90% mental.

Personal opinion : This is a great opportunity for each of the two players to go further in GC. On the other hand, it's neither Djoko, nor Alcaraz, nor Sinner, nor Medvedev! A burning public could be a big help because 15,000 people screaming after a big point lost by Rublo, it's going to hurt him very, very badly! So I imagine a slight ADM advantage...
