Fucso coldly?
The Hungarian is attracting a lot of good players at the moment but he is missing a little something, does he have the famous trigger for this tournament?
The dynamics are completely opposite in this meeting. Fucsovics wins in 3 sets Bublik then Lehecka, comes out with strong and interesting matches then we have Purcell in distress, the Australian only has 4 victories this year. He took a few good beatings and is struggling to maintain a constant level, we saw him do good sets against Ruud, Tiafoe, Rune. The fast conditions in Miami should help him do a little better but on the other hand the match up is not ideal against Fucso. It's true that instinctively we go for Fucsovics without hesitation but isn't this the kind of trap match where Purcell finds a decent level and serves the steel? I advocate caution and anyway Fucso at 1.45 is no thanks, he is good as an outsider but he is not at all the type of player that I like to take as a big favorite like here. However, I have a little bet for you!
