Baez not at aez?

Two participations in Monte-Carlo for the Argentinian and two defeats in the first round, a question of time before he breaks out here?

The little Argentinian is monstrous on clay and has already had quite a few matches on clay this season. For Struff it will be his return to earth but the German is the reigning quarter-finalist in Monte-Carlo. He is often good in the principality, twice 16th finalist and when we look at his defeats in the first rounds it is always against top players. So yes Baez is a top player on earth and he starts as a complete favorite but Struff is tough to face, he has days where his serve is monstrous and to break him you need a lot. His aggressive play can hurt Baez, he must come forward and not let himself be trapped at the back of the field in endless exchanges. He has the weapons and the profile to take Baez into a less obvious path for him, it remains to be seen whether that will be enough.
