Stan sent to the Morgue?

Only 2 victories for Stan in 2024 yet he fights good fights in general, so what's wrong?

We left Stan with a spanking against De Minaur in Monte Carlo. On heavy ground and against a player with exceptional ground coverage it's a heavy but logical defeat. The conditions in Bucharest are better for Wawrinka because it is hot, the pitches are rather fast I think, and the bounce is high. We should see a better Stan. Good conditions for Borges too who prefers it when it's fast, we saw him in Estoril on slow ground in R1: he saved a match point against Pouille. In R2 with nicer weather and above all faster terrain he brought out Musetti for us! Problem for him he hates guys who run into the ball and attack him early. This is exactly what Stan will try to do, I think that the match up is complex for Borges but that with his level and his confidence this year he could do well. Are the odds moving in this direction?
