The Argentine grinta
Etcheverry still got through it thanks to his mentality and a lot of realism, until when?
Super sluggish in R1, in the tough against Seyboth during a set, completely clutch against Koepfer today.. Etcheverry has to fight on each round to get out of it, I find that he does too little harm with his serve and his forehand, in sequence it's great but unfortunately for him it's only sequences. The rest of the time he just holds his diags and waits for the foul, smart when the guy doesn't really feel the ball but he can't get out of it every time. Against Darderi I would say that it can still happen since the Italian sometimes gets too excited when he doesn't make a difference quickly. I was afraid of the physical sequence for Darderi and this package from Rinderknech relieves him a little, I expect him to be in good shape and ready to fight for three sets if necessary. As for the rest, we are starting to get to know him, big serve, huge forehand, huge temperament/mental, the Italian youth promises!
