The Serbian monster
Medjedovic was the qualifier to avoid at all costs, no luck for Cobolli
We've seen a lot of players talking about Medjedovic's power, it's nothing new, we know that he has strong strikes, we just have confirmation that on the pitch his opponents fear him. He hits it hard on every serve, every return, forehand, backhand, it's always good. So obviously his game didn't fit perfectly with the clay but he managed to impose his style. Against Cobolli there is no reason to change his tactical approach, the Italian prefers to be the boss in the exchange and casually he sends serious too! Excellent quality of service, enterprising play, real fighting qualities too. Two players who will try to take control of the points on the very first shots, that promises!
