The Raonic robot

A real emotionless servebot, this Canadian, I like the player but we're not going to lie to each other, we get pissed off watching his grass matches!

Second victory this week for Raonic who continues well, his huge serve once again wreaked havoc and his ability to manage heated moments got the better of Agut. Where the Spaniard lacks speed, aggression and combativeness at times, I see De Minaur being able to do it better everywhere. His first round against a dangerous Bergs started his tournament well, with his quality of movement, his flat shots and his desire to move forward he can piss off everyone on grass. The problem is that when you play against Raonic the match largely depends on him, if he serves steel it is almost impossible to break him on this surface. But in a sense I tell myself that every second ball from the Canadian will be a small opportunity that De Minaur will seize better than Bautista, so why not. They played each other at the start of the year and Raonic won the first set in a high-tension encounter for ADM who was entering HIS tournament at the Australian Open, understandably. This time I imagine him more relaxed and good in his tennis after a surprising season on earth, nothing to get frustrated in an ATP250 too!
