After a slow start against Machac, Arthur recovered and passed the second to easily win 6/4 6/4. Well helped by his service (and a completely irrelevant Machac), the Frenchman advances to the second round but still hasn't convinced me, his attitude is excellent on the other hand. In the game I always have difficulty with his type of shot which is naturally heavy with a lot of weight and volume, something which is canceled out a little on grass unfortunately. I also have the impression that he tends to break down when the guys in front of him are solid from the baseline and that's what awaits him tomorrow.
