Good fight from South America
Argentinian or Brazilian grinta?
I have been telling you for weeks that Etcheverry is struggling, he can't impose himself easily and finds himself having to fight in every match. This was still the case in Gstaad and he withdrew from Kitzbuhel due to a back problem apparently. Rather worrying even if we know that Roland is his favorite tournament, he loves the conditions and should fight as always. Seyboth is a little more in shape at the moment, he is playing more convincing good matches and apparently he is working on his mentality, the dynamic is better on his side I think. In H2H it is 4/1 for Etcheverry with stats that give even more depth to this domination, in general he creates a lot of opportunities on the return and finds himself in little danger on serve. I explain this by an enormous basic game that allows him to constantly push Seyboth to play one more shot until the explosion. The problem is that the forms are being reversed at the moment and victory is not as obvious as at first glance.
