Lopez's victory at home was semi-expected on my side so not really surprised, but against Thompson it might be more complicated.

Semi-expected victory against Purcell as I talked about yesterday, I insisted on the fact that the Spaniard had to take advantage of Purcell's lack of rhythm and matches to start strong and that was the case. Tomorrow, a different pair of sleeves awaits him with a Thompson in great form on grass! The Australian has just beaten Gasquet very easily without conceding a single break point and I think he will be just as calm tomorrow. He leads 4/0 in the direct confrontations and arrives as a logical favorite given his current form.
