Is Felix ready?

I have the opportunity to follow McDo on his American tour, and the least we can say is that he is one hell of a customer!

Nice course in Toronto, McDo interests me a lot in his game and in his movements. Very nice blocker, he goes very quickly on the legs. Given Félix's current level of play, who is playing a little on his own, there is a risk of coming back quite a bit into the field and giving him an equation that is not easy to solve. As the Canadian is not too confident and that he is a fragile player in the head in general, I am afraid that he puts it everywhere. Even if it was much better in Cincinnati, I think he still makes far too many mistakes compared to the level he knew. Indoors I would have been less afraid for him but the outdoor conditions require even more precision. And once again, failing to repeat myself, McDo, who is also arriving as an outsider, will make him play to the maximum, counter him, make him play one more end... Small flats all the same at the level blisters on the foot of the American, and on his match against De Minaur where he completely gave up in the second set which surprised me. I don't expect that here at home in a Grand Slam but it's a detail to raise if he finds himself in a similar situation, that is to say facing a guy (De Minaur) who sends him back All. To sum up, there is a blow to play for McDo, but it is Félix the better player of the two. He could find a good level here. It's possible even if it doesn't seem very likely given his lack of confidence... So tricky!
