The Draper explosion?
The first possible big big result in Draper's young career, the Briton has been showing huge potential for months and he has the opportunity to hit hard this time.
1/8th final for Draper but for me it will be his first real test of the fortnight, and yes because Hurkacz was diminished and in the end the match was one-sided. Behind him beats a good Mmoh but that's not a feat either, there he will be opposed to the Rublev machine, solid top 10 and one of the most eye-catching players on the circuit. The Russian lost a set against Monfils and Rinderknech but when you see the level of our two Frenchmen recently it's not alarming either. We still feel that he lived through a difficult period, our friend Rublev, he celebrates his victories with a lot of energy and it will do him a lot of good. Against a dangerous Draper he will obviously have to put in a little more but when he is thrown into a tournament he becomes super hard to beat. Draper will have to serve the fire and not be too passive in the exchange, against Mmoh he did well because the American had too few weapons to get out of the showdown but Rublev just going to love this fight from the baseline. I see the Russian putting on a hell of a rhythm as always and over time it could make a difference..
