Arthur on his way?

A somewhat difficult match to approach because Arthur took a little time to put his game in place yesterday when he withdrew from the challenger from Rennes without telling us the reason, and Marcos Giron did not have to come out an exceptional match to overcome the whimsical Alexander Bublik.

Our Frenchie had therefore not played again since the US Open (I remind you that he went out in 4 sets against Rublev while he had beaten Schwartzman and Berrettini in the first rounds). Will he gain strength or continue to miss this damn consistency which symbolizes his season? As for Giron, he was able to raise his level of play in good times, notably with good crucial returns. He is a worse player than Arthur overall but is capable of clutching. He leads the way in their confrontations (2-0) but I find that Arthur has very correctly contained the motivation of a guy who plays at home. He is now settled into the tournament and the confidence he has acquired recently should help him in key moments. At altitude and more... I just fear that Giron will clutch, in particular by returning in a solid manner, but over the whole match an advantage to Arthur for me.
