Trap or easy second round for our French?

Opposed to a young Russian who climbs you will have to be wary..

First round far from easy for Mannarino who moved well and saved a set point in particular. He was constantly attacked by Rinderknech but as often this season Mannarino held on and won. Not an easy start but one that can launch your tournament, last season he dropped a set in the first round before slipping to the quarter, I'm not worried more than that. On the other side of the net it will be a talented young Russian (for a change), Kachmazov is still little known but he is starting to show up more and more often in 250 qualifying and there is a nice progression in his results recently. It's clean everywhere, maybe a slight weak point on the back but it can be worked on. After taking out Moutet he tackles another left-hander with an equally atypical style of play but much more confident and formidable.
