Huge mistakes followed by monstrous winners, he played in phases against Varillas and casually it was a good victory for the mind given the scenario! Another important victory for confidence was that of Giron against Wawrinka, 3 tie-breaks and no break points on both sides, a match which would have been hard to digest for Giron. In the game I always have this feeling of seeing him push the ball and trying to accelerate at times, he has no in-between and that gives a more than average result. A match between two players not at all at their best level and with a quality of play that is far from excellent.
