The Canadian looked lost again on the court against Rune in Beijing. As Florent Serra, one of our analysts, often says, he plays alone. Meaning, he's the one who makes the points and the mistakes. And in this case, it's more the mistakes 😅. His level of service is still more than adequate, it's mainly his baseline play that leaves something to be desired, I think. The speed of the surface (not extreme either, let's not push it) will give him a few extra points. A Fucso in shape could obviously beat him, except that the Hungarian is not really at his best either. From experience, Fucso prefers slightly slower hard courts, and it will be played around 2pm in 25-degree heat. I'll be honest with you, I don't know what to think of this match. I thought Felix was going to come back a little better with the Laver Cup and he gave us another match that wasn't up to par against Rune. I'm putting it on my blacklist for a while.
