Carlitos is not okay?
Quite mixed on his level of play lately but he is still in the running and remains a monster, watch out when you wake up..
Like the impression that Carlitos makes his opponents play well, the guys in front of him are over-motivated and make life difficult for him. But Alcaraz loves fights and will never refuse to fight, his match against Evans is the perfect example, he misses a lot of break points (only 1/13 converted in the first set) and could have gotten frustrated but he ended up winning in the tie-break. Reverse scenario in the second round in which the Spaniard was very realistic and ended with a huge winning backhand return. The cry of rage that follows is representative of his satisfaction at having gotten out of this trap match. Opposed to Dimitrov in great shape we will still have to fight but Carlitos likes it. Dimitrov also battled against Khachanov, also winning 7/6 6/4 but with a much better feeling of superiority, he is playing really well this season and establishing himself as boss on the circuit, something that we could blame him for in the past.
