Which Gaston?

Always difficult to anticipate Gaston's matches as his level varies from one match to another.

We saw the perfect example of Gaston last week in chall, the Frenchman takes out Virtanen then spanks Bourges before spanking Escoffier. No consistency or consistency in results, I hate betting on him since I never know when he will be in good shape or when he will come through. In terms of match up it's hard to give a real advantage, Rinderknech will be able to rely on his serve and will come to take the net as soon as possible but Gaston loves to defend and excels in the short game and passing/lobs. Given Gaston's flashes and atypical profile (and his ability to completely get through certain sets) the match will largely depend on him, to see what he does with it!
