You're tense like a cramp Hubert!
Poor Hurkacz is playing his place at the Masters and he is giving it body and soul..
It was surreal against Korda at the end of the second set, we saw the Pole exhausted and hyper tense by the stakes, he was so angry with himself for not having finished this match in 2 sets and could have regretted it. He perhaps already had the information on Fritz's package and knew that he found himself in a good position to chase Rune (8th and last qualifier for the moment). A huge stake which tenses him up and could have cost him dearly, in the game on the other hand he was good and deserved to win 6/3 6/4. The fatigue is obviously there but he is throwing away his last strength with the hope of going to the Masters, I wish him. We will have to beat the metronome Bautista, a player against whom he has only won one of their 4 confrontations, all on hard court. The Spaniard played the perfect match against Lehecka in the next round and finds an opponent he enjoys playing (or at least who he often beats), he has nothing to play on his side and nothing to lose either , with relaxation and the desire to take on the 11th player in the world he could put a spoke in the wheels of Hurkcaz and his hunt for the Masters..
