The Machac revelation

You may find it strange, but despite a superb US Open and many victories in challengers in the Asia / Oceania zone (and on hard courts), I would tend not to overrate Hijikata too much. The players he beats first of all, we're not in the top 50, not even in the top 100. And then his game, I have the impression that he does everything a little worse than Machac. What I am convinced of in any case is that we should not think of Machac as physically exhausted with his 3 matches under his belt. The guy has a huge physical body and he had a day off. This match doesn't mean much to me and I find the odds well adjusted. It can happen 😅!
