Revenge?
Draper gave Paul a little lesson last week, the American will want revenge!
Draper is progressing physically, yes he vomited against Giron in a match that wasn't very long but he says that a few months ago he would have cramped and it's true! Better even if it remains really far from the top level in this regard. He was already coming off a big match last week before beating Paul, so let's stay wary to begin with. The American is defending a semi-final here and further emphasized that he loves the warm conditions and surface of the tournament. Very positive statements which make you want to believe that he will have another great tournament. We will already have to find solutions to beat Draper, the match-up is not ideal for him, Paul likes to hit hard and be aggressive but he lacks time to do it against the Briton. The format is more advantageous for the American this time, he knows that the longer the match lasts the more he will gain the upper hand over his opponent, it is in his best interest not to give any points from the start of the match. Fighting on every point and making Draper work as much as possible is how he could get through it
