Zizou Bergs is a player that I have been following since the summer of 2023. I discovered him on the sidelines in Gstaad, when he was having a very good tournament. I immediately saw its potential when everything was going well in my head. I thought he was going to hit the top 100 by 2024 but he is still fighting his demons. Today he dominates most of the challengers in which he participates, but he needs to move on. And that's exactly what it's doing for me. His 2 Davis Cup matches did him the greatest good and here he passed his first 2 qualifying rounds with flying colors (2 sets zero each time even though he was an outsider each time). He is a powerful player with good quality of service. What does it mean against Rublo? No idea ! 😅. Rublev won the tournament in 2021, and he is in good form at the moment. Of course if he can have mental swings, it's more likely that he will have them in the first few rounds. But can we bet on this information anyway? I don't see him being bothered by Bergs' play so if he loses a set it would mostly be his fault... Let's still see what's happening in terms of the odds 👇
