Next Gen in force!
Huge confrontation which promises its weight in peanuts. I'm personally looking forward to seeing the first encounter of what I think is a very long series...
Stopped last year in the 2nd round by Fritz who was very difficult to beat on his home turf, Shelton I think would have had a very good tournament. He is eagerly awaited by the public and that transcends him. No need to remind you of his recent performance at the US Open. Ben Shelton feeds off this energy. He is the logical favorite here, but his sometimes wrong choices and his inconsistencies within a match could pay off against the new prodigy Jakub Mensik. Indeed, Jakub has recently shown his mental strength against high-quality players like Rublev. He knows how to tighten the game when necessary, and has incredible power on serve, both forehand and backhand.
