Rough for Martinez...
Pedro may be in the form of his life, but he is playing one of the best on the surface. Is there a bet to take?
With the Monte-Carlo R1s being released, it doesn't really make you want to break your teeth here. I watched Martinez closely yesterday against Richard, just to see why he was winning so much right now. The guy plays fair, aggressive and with enormous confidence which makes him do backhands along the line to the millimeter. But in terms of service and power, it's not a match for war. Which means that he will struggle to avoid Casper's forehand shifts. The Spaniard had managed to take a set from him but it was in Kitzbuhel: CQFD (altitude which compensates for the penguin's power deficit). In short, flee, poor fools!
