A qualifier for Cobolli, on paper Marterer is a good draw, right?

I would be wary of Marterer if I were Cobolli because the German has just had a really clean match against Gasquet. Always a clean quality of service, a good boring left-handed game and aggressiveness to boot! Not an earthling for sure but the kind of player who can force his style of play and not care about the surface. We will have to be wary of Cobolli. The Italian remains in an excellent Madrid, he took out Tabilo (left-handed profile, good server) then Jarry (excellent server and aggressive) in advantageous conditions for his opponents, at least he is ready! Flavio was certainly tense at the start of the match but behind it I think he has the game to get through it, Marterer is struggling quite a bit this season and it's not two victories in qualifying that are going to put him back on track as if by magic .
