Paul better?
The American is the favorite for this meeting but watch out for Cerundolo!
Cerundolo perfect on his first two laps, that's already a surprise in itself. The Argentinian often drops a small set from right to left, he is not consistent at all in general so I take him very seriously in this tournament. Paul has also been perfect until then, it's less surprising given his return to form after his injury, he is playing excellent tennis at the moment and we don't categorize him enough as an earthling yet he masters the surface perfectly (and has already won Roland in junior). 3/2 Cerundolo in direct confrontations, the matches are always tight with always 3 sets played in their 5 matches (none in GC), they put in a good one each time! I watched their confrontation this year in Madrid where Paul was coming back from injury, he lacked juice throughout the match which is perfectly understandable. In the game I found that Cerundolo benefited much more from the altitude conditions than Paul. I wonder if at Roland the Argentinian will not lack forehand power to make the difference over an entire match given the mobility of his opponent. To summarize, we have two players who were perfect in their first rounds with a high level of play, each time they play each other it's a fight that lasts, it's the most stable and constant who will win. take away in my opinion
