Quite impressive to see how Halys regained his best tennis almost as if by magic!

A coach who pushes him to play a little differently, a more relaxed approach to tennis in general and here is a rediscovered Halys. A great tournament at Wimbledon and given his level in qualifying here I think we can reasonably think that he will be hard to beat this week in these kinds of conditions. His serve, his forehand and more generally his forward game (a point on which he has worked a lot recently) are just perfect for this type of tournament at altitude. With two qualifying matches in the legs and especially a good victory over Moreno de Albroran, a player that I find excellent in this type of tournament, we already have some good Quentin. A style of play that should piss Gasquet off, right? First confrontation, I couldn't get too far ahead of myself but playing an aggressive guy who can take the net when you have a one-handed backhand is never easy. Ritchie will have to use his experience and his ability to move his opponents to avoid leaving Halys with his feet on the ground ready to attack him.
