What's the problem?
Bonzi has had very low scores in the last two tournaments
I've seen Bonzi's last two matches and the observation is the same: he starts off really well, breaks quite early by playing a good aggressive game and then lights out. He starts making double faults, he misses easy attacks, and gets completely lost in the game. I don't know how to explain why or how, but I'm starting to think that playing in the USA historically isn't exceptional for him, maybe the conditions and this American tour just don't suit him? We shouldn't hide behind that too much either because his basic level is simply not as good. And here he doesn't have an easy draw yet, he takes the Italian Arnaldi who excels in blocking and defense, but who can also make the game with his forehand! For me, the matchup is for the Italian because he finds himself in a position he likes, but he also has good holes in his matches and given Bonzi's good start to the match, I wouldn't be surprised if the Frenchman quickly finds himself in front before sinking again? Arnaldi continues to grow and could achieve a good result in this tournament, but right now I don't see a guy on fire who can beat his opponents. I see a small opening for Bonzi before he cracks again.
