Another super messy match from Carlito and I want to say we're starting to get used to it. Yes it was his first match since Wimbledon, he had to manage the surface transition and there was a good Dzumhur facing him but we have to stop hiding behind excuses it's far from the first time we've seen Alcaraz play this type of match. He wants to play at a pace that's just impossible even for him and in the end he finds himself giving away a number of free points which is mind-blowing.
