New challenge
Sinner has already won almost everything but he hasn't beaten Felix yet!
2/0 for FAA but obviously they haven't played since 2022, so it has to be put into perspective given Sinner's stratospheric level over the last few years. Can Felix still beat him now? With his serve he has the potential to hold a few games and an outsider Felix is immediately more interesting too I think. No pressure, no expectations, more relaxed and impactful tennis, in short this is where the Canadian can play his best matches! I'm also going to highlight the fact that Sinner hasn't been super clutch and perfect in his last two matches either, it's quite rare for him even if he hasn't lost any sets yet. Just a little less perfect than usual that's all. This is the only way out for Felix, to count on a Sinner still lacking realism and for his part to be efficient on break points to save and in the money time. Not where he's usually at his best, but like I said, he's got absolutely no pressure on his shoulders today. And given the odds, we're going to have to go for something that goes in that direction or nothing at all.
