Beat the heat
Conditions were quite extreme this week in Winston-Salem.
Cincinnati has been the talk of the town because of the conditions and the number of players who have had problems due to the heat and humidity. This week we're taking the same players and starting again, it's pretty much the same thing that awaits the players and as luck would have it we find two who have really been very impacted by that. Medjedovic we're starting to get used to, he can very quickly take the hit physically when the conditions are tough, it's nothing new but we had confirmation of that. For Rinderknech it was much more unexpected but given how well the Frenchman exploded it's even more scary. Suffice to say that this is a match that we have to watch very closely live, there might be some real opportunities. In the game we saw a good Medjedovic back from injury and a good Rinderknech who continues his good form. I still put the advantage on Medjedovic's side who is a beast and at his best he is far above I think. He's better at serving, covers his court better, is capable of switching his game, but that's when he's good. I don't really want to lay Rinderknech given his recent results, but his retirement because of the heat and the fact that we're starting to play in the same conditions again is too scary for the back.
