You lose the money for your trip, your coaches, the points you had won... it hurts." So, Zizou took a break. Ibiza. And now seeks "joy" on the court. He is alone, without a coach, on the US tour. Against Fearnley, he wins a very important match for him, and ends a dry spell with notably 86% points behind his first serve. And then, just after, he drops to 48% against Sonego and becomes too erratic again to be able to win at this level. This is the current Zizou. We left him in a horrible match against Lloyd Harris at Wim. Now I think things are better in his head, that he is on the right track, but the road is still long I think. Opposite, Tseng is both a dangerous profile, and at the same time a great opportunity for Zizou. Dangerous because if Zizou becomes erratic again, Tseng will quickly move ahead with his tennis not prone to unforced errors. A great opportunity because despite his aggressiveness, Tseng lacks a little power and will therefore give Zizou time to organize behind his big forehand. Everything depends on Zizou here. Either he hurts with his serve / forehand, or this combo becomes his worst enemy in a period that is not yet very sunny.
