Djere has disappeared from the radar for the simple reason that he is injured

Already affected against Buse in Gstaad, it looked like a shoulder injury for Djere who has already had problems in this area. But apparently it's the lower back that's bothering him, at least that's the reason cited during his multiple withdrawals before this US Open. No preparation matches to get his teeth into, certainly not much training, in short, it's not ideal, you understand. And his game relies largely on his physical quality, I think, he's strong and compact on his line. I'll even go further and say that his style of play is perfect for beating Collignon. The Belgian is still all fired up and can turn into an unforced error machine. He tries a lot, goes for it honestly and takes risks, against a player who's solid on both sides and holds his line, it's normally hell. But that's with a Djere who's in good shape, confident and ready to play 4 hours without losing his physical form. And that's clearly not it, so everything will be a little less good, starting with the serve if his back is still hurting him. It's a match that we absolutely have to follow live to see the slightest sign from him, is it worth taking something in advance?
