Well, well...
I've seen this Grand Slam R1 before...
Not a lot to say here. We didn't really like the matchup on clay at Roland Garros, even though it's Moller's surface and Paul wasn't very keen yet. It resulted in a surprisingly good set for Moller, who played without any pressure, before taking a beating afterwards. So on hard court, I won't dwell on it too much. Elmer Moller has played 35 clay court matches this season, 5 on hard court, including 5 defeats. He didn't play much in August, and was very disappointing, even on clay, losing to the world number 718. Tommy Paul is coming back from an ab injury, but you can tell he's determined and has prepared his comeback well. His defeat against Manna in Cincinnati doesn't worry me much. At least not against Moller...
