Darderi faced a ghost on his first turn, nothing to test him against

Beating Hijikata was a piece of cake for Darderi. The Italian rolled over him, imposing his power, and Hijikata also helped him out by doing anything on his own. It's really not enough to test our friend Darderi, who arrives with some physical doubts in particular. In Winston-Salem, he especially struggled to string together matches, so we'll be keeping a close eye on him during this match. He's back with a local player, and apparently he's already seen him play several times; he seems confident. Spizzirri defeated his compatriot Dostanic in a relatively well-controlled match on his part, much more solid from the back and able to break him down in long rallies. I loved his energy and mobility; you can tell he's a well-fit guy who's not too caught up in the pressure of the match. He will find himself in a similar matchup tomorrow, he will be attacked and taken by the throat by a powerful Darderi but still messy on hard and capable of getting angry on his own. The angle of this match for me is a Luciano who starts strong or at least who is at his level before dropping as the match progresses against a player capable of taking him into a long and disturbing channel for the Italian!
