Riedi like Kym?
The Swiss wants to do like his friend and reach the third round of this tournament by coming out of the qualifiers, destinies linked.
The coincidences don't stop there since Riedi is a bit like Kym in the game, he serves really well and attacks hard, I saw two similar matches in their respective first rounds and I am convinced that seeing his friend beat Nakashima will boost him to do the same tomorrow against Cerundolo. The opposition will be very tough on the other hand, even if Cerundolo came back from hell against Arnaldi we will have to count on him tomorrow. He answered the big question we had about him: is he recovered from his ab injury? Apparently yes, he says he didn't feel any pain and the match was long, so unless there is pain when cold I think we can assume that he will still be 100% tomorrow. His profile is pretty good against Riedi on paper I think, he defends well, is strong on his line and once he can take control of the game with his forehand he will cause extreme damage. Except that he tends to double up and tense up a bit when he's not very confident, there's a guy facing him who's coming out of the qualifiers, who just rolled over Martinez in R1 and who's going to come and take him by the throat by taking risks. I don't see Cerundolo being able to play a clean match in the long format and win 3/0, do you?
