If we're talking about evolution on second serves then Fearnley should be taking a lot of inspiration from what Zverev has changed over time.

18 double faults for Fearnley against Agut, that's the big negative point in his victory. He's not too worried and explains that it happened at the end of sets, that it was tense moments, yes but what? Tense moments or not if you finish the match with 18 double faults you have to ask yourself questions especially since he had Agut on the other side and not Humbert who took him by the throat on the second.. That's the only negative point otherwise the rest was great, we found the great Fearnley, very aggressive, very active and super good at the net. The guy is mobile, he plays fast and does a lot of things very well, he has the weapons to come and move Zverev. Except that Zverev already leads 2/0 and he managed their two previous matches rather well. But nothing is certain with Zverev, we saw him get scared again in the first round against Tabilo, he saved another set point and had to fight harder than expected, it's good to get through but the guy is really always the same in tournaments, he struggles, plays shitty matches and gets stronger as the tournament goes on without ever reaching the level necessary to go all the way it seems. This long format gives him a little more leeway but I want to say that with Fearnley so active and eager to play the game, he will have to be wary and not rest on his laurels
